Caldwell Co. 4-H Family Needs Our HELP!

This is from the caldwell co. agent, we need to try and help!

Last night, the Rink family, one of the families in the Caldwell County 4-H program lost their house to a fire. The Caldwell County Extension Office is collecting donations to help them out. There were four members of the family living in the house, Mike (dad), Heidi (mom), Margaret (17), and Lillian (12).

Clothing needs for the Rinks: Heidi is woman’s size 20/22. Mike's is men's pant size 33/34 and shirt size L/XL. Margaret is ladies pant size 12/13 and ladies S/M shirts. Lillian is children’s size 14/16 pants and children’s M shirt. Shoe sizes sent earlier. Size 8 and size 10.

If you have any clothing, toiletry, or house hold (i.e.: pots, pans, sheets, etc.) items that could be donated, anything would be greatly appreciated. You can mail or drop off items at the Caldwell County Extension Office and we will be happy to make sure they get to the Rink family. We are in the process of working on a way to receive monetary donations. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The EE Club members support our 4-H program throughout the year, and they so enjoy your presentations.  Giving the presentations is also a great means of improving your public speaking skills.  We had 17 presentations at Roundup, so let’s try to have at least 2 presentations at each EE Club meeting.  I realize there are many conflicts, but please make every effort to provide a presentation.

Below is information on each club, so please let me know which club you’d like to make your presentation by  June 3rd.  This will be on a first come, first serve basis, so you may want to have a 2nd or 3rd choice ready just in case.

Once I have the list of who is going to what clubs to make their presentation, I’ll follow up with further information.

I look forward to hearing back from you.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!!
