Nutrition Science Academy

Laura Petty, Hays County FCS Agent has created along with Texas State University the Nutrition Science Academy. Youth ages 13-17 who are interested in exploring nutrition science will participate in hands-on activities in university classrooms and labs.  The academy is limited to 20 participants.

We hope to finalize the registration form after spring break, so I will distribute that and have it available on our Hays Co. 4-H blog at http://hays4-h.blogspot.com.  If anyone has any questions about the academy, they can contact Laura at the Hays County Office.

This would be an excellent opportunity for those that want to take their food and nutrition or healthy lifestyles project to the next level!
